BioEnergetic testing is the end result of a 50 year evolution in biofeedback testing developed by Dr. Reinhold Voll of Germany. This testing can help to identify stressors, by measuring stress and stress response through non-cognitive biofeedback by providing direct electrical information from the body allowing detection of functional imbalances.
How is the testing done?
The SpectraVision equipment unites BioEnergetic testing with advanced computer technology to provide information through both single and multi-channel testing, providing information that assists the practitioner in establishing a treatment protocol to bring the body back into balance.
Multichannel testing acquires a range of data from the energetic pathways of the body simultaneously, measuring the electrical resistance of the skin, Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) between multiple electrodes applied to the skin. Monitoring the body’s GSR through multiple channels provides an overall picture of the body’s energy.
In fact, the system is capable of performing over 6,000 individual energetic tests on your body. Perhaps more importantly, the machine will automatically indicate what remedies you may need to help you and your doctor correct various challenges and deficiencies.
Single-channel testing is the process of testing only one contact point, or acupuncture point at a time, thus, only one meridian or channel of information. Various points are tested on the hand using the SpectraVision probe. While the probe is held to the skin energy enters the acupuncture point and travels through the meridian to provide a reading. Most people feel nothing more than a tingle and sometimes a little pressure at the point.
